Péér Winery - a winery in the Judean Lowlands. In the Judean Lowlands. The moshav is located on the remains of an ancient Jewish settlement from the Talmudic period called “Beit Peer”, which was preserved by an Arab settlement called Beit Pir. In 1947 the settlement was re-established and given the name Tal Shahar.
The glorious history of the place where we live, the beauty of the landscape that changes around us every hour, every day and every season – they are our inspiration. They make us learn and discover.
In the summer of 1964, the late Victor and Aliza Eini arrived in Tal Shahar with their two young children for reasons of pioneering and Zionist settlement, and established the farm.
The beginning was difficult. They lived in a house belonging to the Met agency in Nanpul, the border with Jordan was three kilometers as the crow flies from the house, farming was difficult and even the separation they received from the farm was difficult to control and very difficult to work with… Despite all this, the difficulties strengthened Victor and Aliza. The farm flourished and here they added and had four more children – a total of six sons and daughters, all of whom live in Tal Shahar. The second generation – Shlomo and Yair continue their parents’ tradition by planting the vineyard and establishing the winery. The farm’s symbol is a photograph of the parents, Victor and Aliza, on their wedding day in 1960, and the family is proud to continue a 60-year agricultural tradition of devotion to the land, love of agriculture and love of people.
